At
the tender age of ten months, young Derek began
scribbling with a crayon while watching Saturday
morning cartoons. Sadly, at the age of twenty-seven,
after a string of failed career choices, the
poor bastard realized that scribbling was the
only thing he could do well. It's really funny
if you think about it.. |

Ira
grew up on a hill in Sandy Creek, New York. When he
was little, he drew
dinosaurs and listened to old-time radio drama. Then
his dad taught him to
work in copper and they listened to Doc Watson. When
he was big, he came
down from that hill where people don’t like the
sound of metal tapping. But
it don’t matter cause the boy still sharpens his
pencil with a welding
torch. His dad says he was named for a Johnny Cash song
and Ira still
strives to never drown drunk in a run-off ditch. |

William Patrick Sheehan (formerly Nick O'teen) was born
in Dublin Ireland. He spent his childhood in the quaint
seaside town of Wicklow reading comics, hanging around
with an eight year old serial arsonist, and giving himself
nosebleeds while trying to use ‘the force.’
He moved with his family to Canada at the age of fourteen,
where he continued to read comics, play role-playing
games, and give himself nose-bleeds so he could go home
from school early. When he was fifteen he stuck a love-note
in a girls locker at lunch break and went home suffering
nerve-related stomach cramps. He is now married to her.
After nearly flunking out of highschool, he somehow
graduated with honours, and went to art-school. Then
he went to grad school. Then he moved to Tokyo.
He doesn’t suffer from nose-bleeds anymore. |
